Peer Review Policy

IJIRM follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic integrity and research quality.

Initial Editorial Screening

All submissions are first assessed by the Editorial Office to ensure:

  • Scope relevance

  • Compliance with author guidelines

  • Basic methodological soundness

  • Absence of plagiarism (checked using plagiarism detection software)

Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be desk-rejected.

Double-Blind Review Process

  • At least two independent reviewers are invited.

  • Reviewers remain anonymous to authors.

  • Authors remain anonymous to reviewers.

Review Criteria

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

  • Originality

  • Methodological rigor

  • Clarity of presentation

  • Contribution to the field

  • Ethical compliance

Editorial Decision

Possible decisions include:

  • Accept

  • Minor revision

  • Major revision

  • Reject

The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on reviewer reports.

Review Timeline

The median time from submission to first decision is approximately 7 weeks.
