About the Journal
Aims & Scope
The International Journal of Infrastructure Research and Management (IJIRM) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research at the intersection of infrastructure systems, data analytics, and decision science. The journal aims to foster integrative scholarship that connects engineering, management, computational intelligence, and policy studies to address complex infrastructure challenges in rapidly evolving socio-technical environments. It provides a platform for original research, reviews, methodological innovations, and applied case studies that explore how digital technologies, advanced analytics, and evidence-based decision frameworks reshape infrastructure planning, operation, governance, and performance optimization.
IJIRM welcomes contributions spanning civil and structural infrastructure, transportation systems, water and environmental engineering, energy systems, smart cities, and construction management, while also embracing emerging domains such as big data analytics, artificial intelligence, optimization modeling, risk analysis, digital twins, and intelligent decision support systems. IJIRM seeks to promote sustainable, resilient, and intelligent research development across technical, managerial, and data-relevant dimensions.
Double-blinded Peer Review
Committed to scientific integrity and editorial excellence, IJIRM employs a double-blinded peer-review process and adheres to the highest ethical standards as outlined by COPE. The journal embraces transparency, reproducibility, and accessibility, ensuring that all published content is freely available under an open-access model to maximize dissemination and global impact.
