The Journal of Industrial Information Integration (JIIC) uses Portico as its third-party digital archiving and long-term preservation system to ensure permanent accessibility and preservation of published content.
In addition to external archiving solutions, the journal’s publishing platform is backed up regularly on secure servers with redundancy protocols, routine monitoring, and update procedures to prevent data loss.
All published articles are assigned stable Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) and complete metadata are deposited with Crossref and other indexing services to support long-term discoverability and linking.
Authors are permitted to self-archive the final published version of their articles in institutional repositories, subject repositories, and personal websites, provided that the full bibliographic citation and DOI link to the original publication in JIIC are included.
JIIC remains committed to permanent open access. In the event of journal discontinuation, content preserved through the above archiving mechanisms will remain accessible in accordance with their preservation triggers and policies. The journal ensures:
